Le Bourgeon d'Or is my favorite Chinese restaurant. (And I've lived in the 13th arrondissement for 15 years, which probably gives me some credibility!). They serve Szechuan cuisine (hot pots, twice-cooked pork), nicely spiced, and amazing rice paper wrappers, which you don't find everywhere. Everything is homemade (except the spring rolls!), so be sure to try the steamed dumplings too. Well done, and thank you to the waitresses (especially the youngest one, who will recognize herself, is always incredibly friendly and funny).

The hot and sour shredded potatoes and fried rice were both delicious. The spicy chicken was nothing like Sichuan spicy chicken, but it wasn't bad. The salt and pepper fish fillets were a complete failure; definitely don't order them.

I went twice and loved it; the portions are generous and it's halal. I recommend the chicken noodle soup and the shrimp fried rice paper.

An unpretentious Vietnamese restaurant on Avenue de Choisy. The food is well-prepared, and the chef's fried rice is excellent. Clean place and friendly service.

Long wait . No way to prebook. Only one person serving but she is very fast. But it would help to have someone attend people waiting outside. We ordered salad and raviolis which were very good. We liked both. We then ordered pork marmite which had weird smelling and tasting parts in it. We didn't like it and left out most of it. Maybe others like it, we didn't. Crowded, and a bit loud.

13/01/2026: It's a small Vietnamese restaurant, absolutely delicious. It's the best candy we've had in Paris! They also have Chinese food, which is equally wonderful! A great choice for a simple lunch! 💕💕💕 And the head chef is very kind and welcoming!
