The Château d'Auvers, located in the charming town of Auvers-sur-Oise, is a place steeped in history and beauty. I visited on a weekend. It was quiet, as it was late January, during the off-season. The castle is closed during the winter season, so you can only stroll around the gardens and the castle exterior. The sunset view was beautiful, and the location on a sunny day was fantastic. I would like to visit in the summer as well.

The castle itself is currently closed to visitors. Only a small exhibition on the castle's history is on display in the orangery. It's a shame that this isn't mentioned on the castle's website.

Excellent exhibition. With a large video projection room. Worth seeing.
