Superb exhibition on the influence of Van Gogh, comprehensive explanation, very pleasant and peaceful setting. I highly recommend it.

A superb journey into the work of Van Gogh!

Several unpublished paintings by Van Gogh and other authors in a unique exhibition.

During my visit, I took bus 1102 from the Pontoise RER H station to the château. I was able to see the Van Gogh (Vincent) exhibition until January 1, 2027. I learned many stories thanks to the audio guide and saw numerous works by artists inspired by Van Gogh. Entry costs €12 for the entire château and gardens. The château is not furnished and cannot be visited in its entirety. You will only find themed painting exhibitions. I found the short film at the end of the tour very clever, moving, and interesting.

An excellent art venue to visit. It was here that a large part of Van Gogh's works were inspired and created.

Each castle has its own unique features. Here you can discover the lives of the former landowners. The dairy, the cheese factory with tastings, the old icehouse, and the gardens...

This place was renewed not so long ago. They offer an exhibition around the artists of Auvers, focusing on Van Gogh. They have original artwork, although all the Van goghs are facsimiles. It’s worth the visit. They have an 360* experience similar to “atelier des lumieres” with the story of Van Goghs nephew and sister in law, and how they worked to make vincent famous. Worth the visit. Accessible for reduced mobility. Check the grotto in the restaurant behind the chateau 🙏

Only been to the chateau’s park, even in a foggy weather, it’s really nice!
