Visit to the Van Gogh exhibition with the family. The children loved it. We took the opportunity to visit the castle park.

I am a student of Asian origin attending school in France. On the afternoon of March 30, 2024, I visited Auvers-sur-Oise Castle for the first time to celebrate Vincent van Gogh's birthday. The ticket office staff were very friendly. The ambiance of the exhibit was very nice but the black staff inside the exhibit were rude. It was nice to have toilets on each floor.

Exciting, a moment of pure pleasure

Very pretty castle with the very interesting exhibition on Vincent Van Gogh. I recommend taking an audio guide. Children can have a small game book to visit the exhibition in a different way. I recommend.

The atmosphere is there, but don't expect to see authentic paintings by van Gogh, there are only copies and not always very well done. It doesn't take more than 30 minutes to go around it. The visit is essentially made up of video/photos and audio stories. For 12 euros per person we hoped for something else. In my opinion this is worth 5a 6 euros max

I was able to visit the Château d'Auvers during the exhibition "Van Gogh the Ultimate Journey" and I was completely captivated by this journey through the key moments of his life. It was a big step towards his past, his memories and his loved ones.

Formidable French-style castle, dating from the 17th century. Garden in the same style. Restaurant.

Visit made with a guide which gave great interest and relief to this discovery of the life of Van Gogh. Exhibition which is new since September 2023 only. The exteriors are not very interesting at the moment because nothing is flowered and it is very gray. The castle dominates the valley however.
