Aux Bons Amis sur Paris

I want to recommend this unassuming restaurant, which is always packed with customers. The waitress was incredibly kind and patient. When I was hesitating between two side dishes I really wanted, she suggested I order both, and in the end, she charged me for one plate – so kind! The side dishes were perfectly seasoned, and the hot and sour soup was rich and flavorful. The meat was tender, and the bamboo shoots had just the right amount of sourness. You could tell they used fresh ingredients; it wasn't some cold dish that'd been simmering for ages, or soup that'd been boiling for ages. The steamed buns were huge and tasted great too. After eating, I felt truly warm and comforted. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant; I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Paris.

Super, super, super delicious! I'm taking a dozen of these steamed buns back to the UK. The price is so reasonable! I bought extra luggage space specifically to pack these for my trip back to the UK.

Stir-fried noodles are killing me

The beef offal noodles were super delicious!! The soy milk was incredibly cheap.

The soy milk was a bit cold, and the sugar hadn't dissolved properly. I accidentally sucked up a mouthful of sugar at the bottom, which had a hint of osmanthus flavor. The savory tofu pudding was smooth and delicious, with a mild seasoning that I liked. 😍 The fried dough sticks were fluffy and soft, yet still retained a certain chewiness, more like the fried dough sticks in China! The meat buns had a thick, soft skin, which I love. The filling was also generous, with a firm, meatball-like texture. The lady sitting opposite me ordered Wenzhou soup noodles/rice noodles, which looked very appealing. I wanted to try them, but I was too full.
