On Friday we bought a strawberry cake. It wasn't really what we expected; it was too sweet and lacked cream and strawberries. A bit dry, too much biscuit.

I've rarely seen a bakery as disorganized as this one! There's a long queue, not because the food is good, but because they're understaffed and the people there are completely disorganized. In the same queue, you have people who want to buy pastries and others who want sandwiches, so they split the queue in two! And then, those who are getting sandwiches go first to pay, but those who got pastries also have to wait to pay, and then everyone ends up at the front of the line at the same till! Honestly, spending 10 minutes in a bakery to buy two croissants is a disaster.

My husband and I had just gotten off the train and stumbled upon this cute little pastry shop after missing our original destination—what a happy accident it turned out to be! We decided to try the almond chocolate croissant, and wow… it was absolutely incredible. Thick, gooey, and filled with rich almond paste—truly out of this world! I also couldn’t resist the chocolate chip cookie, and it did not disappoint. It had that perfect crunch that I personally love. The cappuccino was great, and I was pleasantly surprised they offered oat milk. On top of that, everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and they spoke English, which made the experience even better. Such a wonderful and unexpected find—definitely two thumbs up!

A touristy spot, good for breakfast (one of the few places open early in the morning around here). The pastries and pastries are decent, but the prices are a bit high.

Sunday and Monday, I visited "Maison Marteau" and I highly recommend them. They have excellent products and great value for money. It's always a pleasure to go there; the welcome is very warm and the team is fantastic.

10/06/2026: The hotel is definitely convenient because it's very close to Disneyland Paris, whether you're driving or walking: a 10-minute walk takes you to the Bussy Saint George station, and two stops on the RER A takes you to the park entrances. That said, I wasn't thrilled with the hotel, which was undergoing renovations, and as a result, everything was poorly organized: it wasn't clear where the reception was, and we even had trouble getting to the rooms and elevators. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing, but for me, there were two major downsides: the light in the room at night was as bright as day, probably due to the streetlights outside, but mostly because the curtains didn't cover the window properly, so I couldn't sleep; another problem was that there was only one towel per person: no hand towel, and no extra small one, which is essential on some occasions. The breakfast was plentiful, but nothing special. Overall, a good place to stay, but with some aspects that could definitely be improved. I hope that these little things will improve as the work is completed. The quality-price ratio is still good.
27/05/2026: A very good hotel. With good service and very well-maintained rooms.
