Let me begin by saying that my expectations were, at best, extremely low. It was almost midnight, we'd consumed what I would euphemistically call a "considerable" number of pints, and the dining options in the area seemed to be vanishing before our eyes.
It was therefore with perfectly understandable caution that we entered this establishment. Imagine my surprise, then, to find the service quick, courteous, and remarkably efficient. Even more impressive, the prices per gram proved to be almost disconcertingly honest. In an era where so many establishments seem to view their customers as nothing more than walking wallets, this pricing moderation deserves praise.
The food performed its function professionally, the staff were friendly, and no one tried to take advantage of our beer-fueled vulnerability.
I will return, ideally with a blood alcohol level slightly more compatible with rigorous gastronomic analysis.
Perfect for a quick bite, or rather a really quick bite, I devoured a full plate of noodles and lemongrass chicken, a crab roll as a starter, all for €10 🍜
