Aux Ducs de Lorraine sur Saint-Hippolyte

Our first vacation in almost 10 years, we chose this hotel on the Alsace Wine Route, and despite the weather, we loved the area. As for the hotel itself, with its regional decor, we can only echo the rave reviews: a warm welcome, a cozy room with a view of the vineyards and Haut-Kœnigsberg. The home-style cooking was perfect. Congratulations to both the chefs and the attentive waiters. Having returned two days ago, we've already recommended this hotel to two other families.

A very nice hotel with a view of Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle from the room. The room was lovely and very clean, the set menu was excellent, and the breakfast was generous. The staff were professional and approachable. The owner was friendly and took the time to visit each table and chat with the guests. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

We booked one night initially thanks to a gift voucher, and added two more nights. The welcome was warm and professional. The room, very spacious and facing Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, was rustic, though it could use a refresh with its stained carpet. It was equipped with a small refrigerator. The bathroom had been renovated. The wellness area is brand new and modern, with a fantastic pool opening onto a lovely terrace. The restaurant has two very attractive, air-conditioned dining rooms. We opted for half-board: the food was high quality and beautifully presented. The staff were remarkably professional and kind: we even received a lovely touch at dessert time for our 51st wedding anniversary. Thank you again, gentlemen. The bar is pleasant with a delightful bartender. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive, offering everything you could want, both savory and sweet: well done! The hotel is quiet, surrounded by nature, yet close to tourist attractions. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay at Hotel Munsch. The new spa area is fantastic, and the staff, as always, are very friendly and eager to fulfill our wishes. We would especially like to commend the open-minded and accommodating M., who was very attentive to the needs of my severely disabled friend. The toilets in the rooms are in dire need of renovation! We ate here on three evenings. The four-course menu was delicious every day. The staff was very friendly and competent. Highly recommended.

The decor is dated, but well-maintained and clean. The meal is carefully prepared and delicious, even though it's a set menu. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The clientele is mostly older and German, but also diverse.

Free parking. Very friendly staff. I received gluten-free toast for breakfast, but it was the same every day. The sauna and swimming pool closed at 7:30 pm. Very quiet location.

We spent a weekend there, enjoying a very good three-course dinner each evening. The hotel has a special, rustic charm.

Perfect stay, very friendly staff, I recommend this establishment!
