We've dined at Ayanami several times. It's a good Japanese restaurant that takes care of its customers. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, and we've always had excellent food.
Special mention for the vegetable gyoza and the "Amateur" sushi/California roll!
Excellent welcome from the waiter, clearly passionate about Japanese culture, who made us feel at ease and explained the ingredients of the dishes. The sea bream suzukuri was deliciously tender, and the salmon teriyaki was superb. The chef is very experienced and talented! Our taste buds were transported to the Land of the Rising Sun for a few moments 🇯🇵
Only one disappointment: The waiter seemed to be a fan of The Last of Us Part II... when the first one is much better 😊
I got sushi takeout.
The price was reasonable, the ingredients were fresh, and the vinegared rice and nigiri sushi were just right!
I especially recommend the nigiri!
Although it was just takeout, the French owner and Japanese chef were both very kind and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere.
I'll definitely go again!
