A great find! The food was delicious and very affordable. All the dishes on the menu are available for takeout, which is fantastic. The restaurant's atmosphere and service are very simple. The open kitchen is a major drawback because, unfortunately, despite the quality of the food, the smell of frying in the dining room is overpowering and becomes very unpleasant after an hour. When we got home, we had to wash all our clothes because the smell had permeated everything. This is the only negative point; we won't be returning to eat in the restaurant, but we will gladly come back to pick up our takeout orders. I'm giving it 4/5 because the quality of the food is impeccable.

This restaurant is a complete joke!!! I live just a few meters away and I was happy to find a reasonably priced restaurant because I really like this kind of food, but I've only been twice. The first time, I asked if I could order in advance by calling and then pick up my order later to eat at home. Since I'm disabled, it's more convenient for me, the owner said. Of course, no problem, so everything went well the first time. I should mention it was an order for three people, and I eat a lot, and so does my son, so it wasn't just a tiny order. 20 euros for nothing at all. Anyway, I ate at home, and the food was okay, not exceptional or excellent, but okay. So I wanted to order a second time by phone, but this time the owner told me no, it wasn't possible, we had too many customers. But it's especially the way he said it that I found really unacceptable. No "I'm sorry, sir, I apologize," but... It's not possible tonight. He just texted me "no, not possible," then said goodbye and hung up on me without another word. So, out of curiosity, I went to see for myself if there were that many customers for him to refuse like that, because I live two buildings away and I walk past very often. There's usually never anyone there, at most two or three tables occupied during the week and not many more on weekends most of the time. I've lived here for seven years, so I walk past and I see that he only has two tables occupied by six people in total, and frankly, he's not running around cooking, him and the woman in the kitchen, who, by the way, is watching the customers eat while talking to her boss or her husband, I suppose. Anyway, it was clearly a big lie. So why he refused, I don't know and I don't understand, because times are tough for local restaurants. If from the beginning he had told me "no, I don't take phone orders" and it's not possible to come and pick up... I wouldn't have said anything about the takeaway, even though I wouldn't have thought less, but anyway, I'll never try ordering from there again. Besides, when you're leaving after your meal, I suggest you take a look at the kitchen because you can see it clearly from the dining area. The first time I saw it, frankly, it was a complete mess for a kitchen: cooking utensils lying around everywhere, half-open bottles that had apparently been there for a while, and my first impression was that it really didn't look hygienic at all. That's why I wanted to try ordering there a second time to check if maybe I'd missed something. I only had 10 seconds to look. Think about it next time you go, because the state of the toilets and the cleanliness and organization of a kitchen says a lot about what you eat in any restaurant, a bit like the kebab cook near my house who goes to the toilet and comes back Taking your kebab bread without washing your hands means I'll never pay in advance again when I order food out. This time, I left my order at the kebab shop, simply telling them that you wash your hands when you go to the toilet, even in a restaurant or just a kebab shop. But of course, they told me to go hug my mother and other insults that I understood perfectly because, even though I'm French, I've lived in housing projects almost all my life.

14/03/2026: IT'S HALAL. Very good restaurant and fast service for a busy Saturday lunchtime. The setting is lovely. The staff is welcoming and efficient. Home-style cooking, dishes very well seasoned. Everything is served piping hot, the portions are generous, and the value for money is excellent! I recommend their pad thai, which is superb. I'll be back!
