Certainly the setting is very beautiful and the cuisine tasty, but the quantities are ridiculous and the prices prohibitive or even downright petty. Charging extra for white rice as an accompaniment to a curry is scandalous. As if in an Italian restaurant, we charged pasta in addition to bolognese…

I spent a unique evening at bamboo thai. There we find the real flavors of the country and real Thai cuisine. What a joy to be able to dine in an exotic setting in the middle of Provence. Thank you for this evening 🫶

Beautiful place and ambiance and great food. The service was very good as well with a waiter who could advise on mix of dishes and appropriate wine. The wine card is just insane and unexpected for a Thai restaurant (just have a look, but you’ll need time to go through it and might end up dreaming). Highly recommended if you are passing by Luberon region 👍👍👍

Very pleasant setting. Unprofessional and long service. Many regulars, as new customers, we almost feel like they're bothering us.... Good food but minimal portions. Extraordinary wine list.... Ultimately really disappointing value for money...

We were so excited to find a Thai place in the heart of Provence. Food was delicious. Service was extremely attentive and friendly and the outdoor terrace is charming. Will definitely make a point to return next time I’m visiting. Highly recommend.

L’établissement a connu visiblement d’importants changements (personnel de service et de cuisine certainement) qui ont bien amélioré la qualité. Au service un personnel sympathique, avenant et compétent. Côté cuisine, des plats nombreux raffinés et savoureux dans lesquels les épices sont bien utilisés. Les desserts délicieux. Et, nouveauté également, tous les vins (carte des vins incroyable) peuvent être choisis en 50cl ce qui est très pratique et donne l’occasion de goûter des variétés originales. Vraiment au final, le BT a regagné ses lettres d’excellence après une période de creux de vague en 2023 … bravo à la direction pour les réactions positives, quel plaisir pour le client !

26/01/2026: A typical Lourmarin restaurant, ideal for soaking up the village atmosphere. We enjoyed delicious, generously topped pizzas made with quality ingredients. A great time, excellent service! We'll be back 🥰
31/10/2025: What a lovely little town is Lourmarin. Not many people visit it. Not many people have the opportunity to enjoy it. In the heart of Lourmarin you will find a little restaurant called Restaurant l'Ormeau. Yes, it is located in a very touristic spot in Lourmarin. However: the restaurant had been renovated before we visited, and after most of the pictures that are featured in the Google maps reviews were taken. Don't be fooled by the old pictures and old ratings: the pizza is indeed satisfying 🍕. And don't forgot to order a peach special juice.

28/09/2024: We were at the campsite. This is very spacious and beautifully laid out. Tall trees provide shade. Good gravel courses. BUT WE'RE MOST IMPRESSED BY THE PIZZA HAUT PRAIRES IN THE CAMPING PLATZ RESTAURANT. THIS WAS EXTRAORDINARY, OUTSTANDING, WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AND PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST PIZZAS I HAVE EATEN IN THE LAST 20 YEARS! 👍 👍 👍 👍. TRY IT FOR YOURSELF.
