10/07/2026: Food was very average. It was heated in microwave. You can’t even compare it with other restaurants in Provanse.

11/06/2026: La Fontaine Gaillon was lovely. Friendly hostess and staff, (shout out to M, our server who was very attentive but never bothersome), very cozy atmosphere and the food was outstanding. We had the turbot and chicken, both were delicious. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re visiting and not sure where to go, you won’t be disappointed. Oh and the cocktails and champagne were spot on as well. Au revoir! 🇫🇷

06/06/2026: 1 star for food- the worst beef filet that I’ve ever had. Weird cut and portion was ridiculously small, not even 200g which is standard. Fries were bad as well, very salty, oily and hard. Atmosphere was great though, very nice place to sit. Service was just ok.

27/07/2026: Visiting Lourmarin. The Caesar salad was a culinary masterpiece for me: three types of tomatoes and two types of chicken! Incredible!! The veal picana was also very good! I highly recommend it.

17/07/2026: We ate at the restaurant on Friday the 17th in the evening. The young staff were very friendly and gave us excellent advice. We started with a tapenade to share and some other dishes. The food was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it, but the presentation made us think it had been rushed, even though there was a bit of a wait. The tapenade had soggy bits of focaccia, the picana had very few vegetables, and the chocolate cake was rather unappealing, though still excellent. We'll definitely come back because we had a lovely time on the terrace and left with full stomachs! Thank you to the team for delighting our taste buds, even if our eyes weren't sore.

05/07/2026: The staff are always cheerful and very attentive, polite and kind with the guests.

08/06/2026: Average. A very good salad, but a glass of warm rosé was €8 and two coffees were €6, and I'm still waiting for the sugar. Could do better.

20/07/2026: The place is cute and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the outdoor tables further out (like ours) were on the sidewalk, and even though there were few cars passing by, the location felt a bit exposed. Overall, good service and a good menu, although unfortunately, the crepes (egg and onion) didn't satisfy us: the amount of pepper was excessive and overpowered the other flavors. A little more generosity in the white wine served by the glass would have been appreciated, as it was scant and definitely below average for a standard restaurant glass. The coffee was good.

19/07/2026: The locals love it here and we know why - the food is divine, the vibe is relaxed and fun and the staff make you feel like you’ve been invited into their lounge room or private joke. The sirloin steaks were among the best we have ever had (and we’ve had a lot!) and the food is not overpriced. The assiette for dessert is big and perfect for sharing! Sitting outside is lovely when the weather is fine. A must visit for your stay in or near Lourmarin.

12/06/2026: A place of rare tranquility and serenity in Lourmarin. What a wonderful discovery! Tucked away in a narrow street, we found this little porch and, charmed by the place, we enjoyed the shade while sipping excellent tea. Great advice, a lovely spot away from the crowds—in short, a timeless moment that did us good.

11/06/2026: Away from the hustle and bustle in a back street, a nice tearoom, delicious cheesecake, and plenty of choice. The decor is cozy; personally, I would put some comfortable chairs on the terrace. But that's just me.

25/05/2026: Good restaurant, very popular judging by the crowds, and excellent value for money compared to others. The staff are very friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Highly recommended.
