Bar Chai Nico sur Chauny

Excellent, lunch on the terrace, pleasant welcome, great deal, highly recommended.

We were on a bike tour and needed a tasty, energy-packed snack, so we had Brioche Perdu and Café Gourmand – really delicious! (The little cuddly toy, Gisi, is just posing in the photo and doesn't belong to the café 😉)

We love coming to have a drink on the terrace... I wanted to try the vanilla milkshake and was very disappointed. My milkshake arrived, completely tasteless, very bland, awful. I told the waiter, and he insisted there was vanilla ice cream in it. He came back with another milkshake, saying the person had forgotten to put the ice cream in the first one. I tasted the second one... still just as bland, no flavor at all... it tasted like milk diluted with water. Maybe you forgot the ice cream again, or maybe you don't know how to make a milkshake... I'll come back, but I won't order a milkshake again.

Want to start your day off right? Then come to Chai Nico! Honestly, it was my first time here with my partner, and the breakfast was lovely. That waffle was superb! We were in a great mood afterward. And let's be honest, if I lived in Chauny, it would become a daily stop. Nico is very friendly; it was our first time here, and the handshake was fantastic! 😉 I highly recommend it.

Excellent bar. Very friendly owner with reasonable prices. The wait time is minimal and the drinks and food are very good. Highly recommended.

The food smells great, the table on the terrace is lovely, the draft beer is very good, a pleasant time, I'll be back.

Pleasant welcome. The outdoor terrace is a plus. It's very pleasant to have a drink and a bite to eat in this place.
