We had a wonderful time at this restaurant in Cassis. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was truly excellent. The servers are lovely, very friendly, and always smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable. 😊 A huge thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome and kindness. For five days in a row I had breakfast here, at the Bar de la Marine. I was amazed by how good the espresso was... and I'm hard to please... plus the croissant was truly delicious!!!

I'm a regular at the Bar de la Marine, but for about a month now I've been disappointed by the food, which until recently was very flavorful with lots of Provençal touches. I recently had the tuna tartare, which didn't have the same taste, and what can I say about the cuttlefish today? It tasted burnt and lacked fresh herbs like spring onions and cilantro. Thankfully, the tapas were very good. It's a shame because the service is excellent.

Everything was good here. Crepes, drinks, lunch. Even the coffee was stand-out. The second waiter we had gave the best service.

17/07/2026: Good food. The foie gras appetizer was magnificent. The leg of lamb was quite good, although I would have preferred a slightly larger portion (I have a good appetite, so some will certainly appreciate the generous size). On the other hand, if you're looking for a really good fish soup, this is THE place to go. The service staff was excellent. The setting is lovely, although a bit noisy as it's located on a very busy pedestrian street during peak season.
16/07/2026: Family meal on July 14th with a view of the fireworks from the 1st floor. A smiling, efficient and humorous waiter.
