We stumbled upon the Union bar by chance for lunch... Ready to go back. 👍

Go for it, it's a great place. Passing through Neufchâtel-en-Bray, I stopped at the bar and restaurant. I was greeted with a smile and genuine kindness by the owner, who runs everything herself. The bar service and the truly homemade food were a real treat. She listens to all her customers. Plus, there's an exhibition of local painters whose works you can buy.

Steak and fries were excellent, Cheese platter was superb

The homemade veal blanquette is to die for, thank you for this delicious moment, just like at home 😁 plum tart is great. It was a happy coincidence, I highly recommend it. ♡♡♡

Five stars in every way, because this charming little restaurant, run by a very kind lady, was a wonderful discovery. I asked if it was possible to have an egg on my croque monsieur, and the owner immediately said yes. My fiancé asked if they had Cherry Coke, and although she didn't have any, the lady suggested adding strawberry syrup to the Coke. Such attentiveness to customers pleasantly surprised us! The service was super fast, always smiling, and of very good quality: homemade fries, a garden salad, and fresh and very tasty tomatoes! During our meal, we admired some beautiful works by a painter who had exhibited in the dining room. In short, I recommend stopping for a drink or a homemade comfort food in the Union bar, where the owner will be delighted to welcome you!
