Passing through to visit the city, we decided to stop for a drink and to feed our 8-month-old daughter. Despite the fact that they didn't have a microwave to heat our daughter's meal, the staff were incredibly kind and found an alternative solution. As for the bar, it's quite unique. You can also buy local beers and borrow games while you enjoy your drink.

Bar La Rafale is located in the heart of Granville's upper town (historic center), on a charming little square. It's the perfect spot for a break after a stroll through the narrow streets or before heading down to the harbor and beach. The concept is uncomplicated and resembles a neighborhood bar with a slightly alternative vibe. The drinks selection is extensive, especially the beer and wine, including some local and organic options. The terrace is pleasant and inviting, perfect for watching the world go by in the square. The service is relaxed and friendly, and the clientele is a nice mix. A great place for a relaxing drink or aperitif. And yes, the restrooms are behind a cabinet door.
