Bar La Tamise sur Paris

Visited in May 2023. It was my first time checking into a hotel in France, so I was nervous, but the staff were polite and kind. I arrived in the morning, so I left my luggage at the front desk, and they served me bread and coffee. It was delicious and I was grateful. The rooms are not large, but they are clean and a cute hotel unlike anything you'll find in Japan. There were chocolates and cookies provided in the room, which were delicious. The location is within walking distance of the Louvre Museum. It was nice that the subway station was close too. When I told them I would be leaving after 5 a.m., they agreed and checked out smoothly the next day. What's more, they gave me a pen with the hotel's name on it. I think this is a hotel with very nice staff. Although it is a little expensive for Japanese people, it is a hotel that I would like to stay at again.

The stay could not be better. Exceeded all my hopes and expectations. All was very clean and quiet. The staff are excellent. When I return to Paris I will hope to stay at La Tamise because the staff was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The location is excellent. We were on the 4th floor and the elevator was welcomed.

Ideal location for many area of attraction. Small quaint for a couple looking for affordable room near the hot spot.

First place we stayed in during our paris trip. Staff were friendly. Location was great, right across the park beside lourve, has a train station across the street. Lots of food options within 10min (bakeries, French bistros, Asian food) Hotel was clean, bed was comfy, AC/heat were great. Wifi was strong. Free water. Elevator. Water temp and pressure was great. Overall an awesome stay. From CDG it takes about 50min via subway, have to switch 2 times. Or Uber for about 40min costed us around 50 euros.

One step away from the Louvre, comfortable rooms and fantastic staff! We'll be there for sure!

We stayed here for a total of four nights and five days. It is absolutely spectacular. The hotel staff are kind, friendly, and welcoming. The staff is second to none. The rooms were very beautiful and their accommodations suited our family of four flawlessly with a suite that had two separate bedrooms with each having their own bathroom. The hotel breakfast was wonderful as well. This is our new home in Paris for our visits.

We would absolutely stay at the Hotel La Tamise again. Before we arrived, the staff was prompt in answering our questions and making recommendations. The hotel arranged transportation from the airport, and our driver Carlos was there when we arrived. The rooms were clean and as described. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were a group of 4 couples and all of us were pleased with the level of service. Thank you Hotel La Tamise for making our stay stress free. We look forward to our next visit!

My fiance and I stayed at Hotel La Tamise for 4 nights in December and had a fantastic experience! From a location standpoint, it can’t be beat - we were close (walking distance for us) to most major “touristy” destinations like the Louvre, Champs Elysees, right off of Rue Saint Honore, etc. and within close walking distance to shops, coffee and breakfast, and bars and restaurants. Of course it’s a bit touristy because it’s so close to major tourist destinations, but the central location was perfect. The room was beautiful, we booked a Superior room and we had a great window on the street, a large bed, and a bathroom with a tub, large shower (with heated towel rack,) and toilet separate. I see complaints in other reviews about room size, but in my experience with European hotels, this was large and accommodating. The hotel also has a bar area for breakfast, but where you can enjoy a drink or two, which we did before calling it a night several evenings. It helped that we enjoyed conversation with the bartenders! The staff set our experience apart. They were so helpful, warm during all interactions, and extremely friendly and supportive when we had some stress surrounding some cancelled flights. While we fortunately didn’t need to push our flight another day, they were working with us to potentially book another night if necessary; they also shipped my AirPods that I left in the room back, which I feel not all hotels - specifically internationally - would do. It felt like a boutique experience without being in a massive hotel or with the inflated price tag. This trip was celebrating our recent engagement and it was a nice touch that we had some treats and a bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us upon our arrival! We had an incredible time, and we will definitely be back to this hotel the next time we are in Paris!

· The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Salle the breakfast attendant - he was truly marvelous! The location was fantastic, a 2 minute walk to the Metro and you can walk to the Louvre from the hotel. It is also within walking distance from many cafes, restaurants and shops. The rooms were small, but had plenty of storage space, and the bedding was lovely - very comfortable, and the toiletries were of a very high quality. The complementary champagne and snacks were very welcome on arrival. I cannot recommend the Tamise more highly!!

We enjoyed staying at the hotel four nights during Christmas. Very good location, easy access to museums, shopping areas, Metros. Also, the staffs are super friendly!
