We arrived at lunchtime at 11 a.m. The tables were rather poorly arranged: a table for four in the middle and two round tables at either end. This meant that four people were crammed around half a round table, which was quite awkward.
We were served fairly quickly, and the dishes were generous and very good.
The only downside was the waitress's training. She shouts when bringing drinks as if she's playing the lottery, which completely ruins the restaurant's charm. "Coke! Coke!" The food and drinks weren't placed directly on the table; she held them out for us to take. This wasn't practical when elderly people were at the table and didn't necessarily have the strength to hold and set down their plates. When clearing the table, she held out her hands for us to give her our empty plates and then spoke quite aggressively because the cutlery was missing. Furthermore, she didn't give the menus to the men and practically threw them at them, which was rather clumsy. Without that waitress, the experience would have been perfect.
Family lunch around a round table (4 couples).
Very good value for money and good food.
Only downside: the wine selection is limited... (It's true that we chose carafes of "dry white and red" which weren't great).
