Big Fernand Nîmes sur Nimes

As tourists visiting Nîmes, we were strolling through the narrow streets when we stumbled upon this shop. What a wonderful experience, full of pleasure and almost timeless, the kind you rarely encounter these days… We were greeted by a charming gentleman, whose name we unfortunately didn't ask. He took the time to passionately share his knowledge of calissons with us and readily offered some excellent recommendations for places to discover in the region. We highly recommend this shop, both for the quality of its pastries and for the warm welcome we received. We hope other customers will have the chance to meet this passionate and friendly shopkeeper. We wish him continued success and, for our part, we will gladly return on our next visit to Nîmes!

We visited the shop this morning. The brunette lady who greeted us gave us excellent advice and let us taste several sweets to help us make our choice. There was a refreshing herbal tea available, which was much appreciated in the heat. My husband, our three children, and I received a very warm welcome. I highly recommend this shop in Nîmes!

A very pretty shop. The saleswoman was extremely pleasant, readily answering questions and sharing historical anecdotes. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation!

I originally came to buy a gift, and Séverine was very professional; she knows the history of her products inside and out. I've never been drawn to calissons, but Séverine let me try some, and I loved them!

We visited in the early afternoon. A very kind gentleman with a beard gave us advice; he was very pleasant and professional. We need more people like him in shops! Anyway, thank you, sir, for your kindness. The saleswoman was cold. I will gladly return! I bought a box of calissons for €22 and some cardboard ones, which were very nice.
