Bistro Creole sur Bordeaux

We ordered the set menu, which is always the same: lettuce salad, homemade fries, grilled salmon with a delicious sauce, fresh pineapple for dessert, and water to drink. It's in the center of Bordeaux and the service was quick. Inexpensive for France.

The food was very good (the duck was cooked perfectly), the service was friendly and accommodating. No complaints.

A very nice establishment, it just lacked a smile from the waitress, even though we were very polite.

A truly beautiful place steeped in history, with a wonderful atmosphere... As always, nothing more to say, a superb salmon tartare with great fries (which would be even better if they were a little crispier)... Furthermore, a charming, slender waiter, very kind and always smiling... Also, I wanted to say a big thank you because it's rare these days to see waiters wearing the proper waiter's uniform, which is becoming increasingly rare... We love Bistrot Régent République. After a long day at work, it's a pleasant spot in a setting reminiscent of Parisian brasseries, offering simple yet satisfying cuisine, a hearty meal with a good beer or a glass of Pessac-Léognan, wonderfully fresh tartares, and proper fries! And the staff are always friendly and attentive. We're never disappointed.
