Bistrot Bassano sur Paris

Small Greek restaurant near Avenue George V. Delicious food, incredibly friendly owners. Just a few steps away from the main tourist areas, you can eat in peace without the crowds.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Christophe Leroy, who recently took over Bistrot Bassano and Monsieur Bassano. The food, the setting, and the welcome were magnificent. Thank you for this excellent experience.

Very nice place worth stopping by. Food is delicious, home made, you can feel it was made with love :) We had mushrooms, grilled salmon, grilled chicken, and desserts. Portions were quite big and diverse. Cozy and neat interior, family atmosphere and very friendly and helpful owner (I’m guessing the lady is the owner). Come and try it yourself!

High-quality authentic Greek food. The best moussaka I've had in ages. The service is excellent, the food arrives within a reasonable time, and it offers good value for money.

Bassano bistro is an authentic restaurant. The Hellenic decor and the ambiance, enhanced by background Greek music, were delightful. The service was provided by the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and the quality and quantity of the dishes, which my Greek partner raved about, were so good that we almost had to take some home with us—the meal was so delicious and generous. I was even able to easily pay part of the bill with a digital TheFork gift card I had received. In short, it's a place worth visiting, especially if you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine in a warm and inviting setting at reasonable prices, particularly for this neighborhood. A very good experience; I highly recommend it!

I stopped here for a very late (3pm) lunch after going to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Florence (I think) greeted me warmly and served me a delicious “vegan“ burger with French fries and a glass of Chablis. She even brought me some ice for my aching knee. I say “vegan” because it had an egg on it and the bun was not Vegas, but she accepted my critique and said she would tell the chef. I highly recommend!!

We came with a group of 7 and even though this restaurant is run exclusively by a husband & wife team, they kept up. Food quality was high, and everything was clearly homemade and fresh. Vast majority of dishes were authentic and delicious. We tried moussaka, octopus, a couple of salads, feta dip appetizer, mixed grills and a lamb orzo entree. Picture is that (delicious) lamb entrée. Only critique is that the atmosphere is very simple and chairs a little cramped; most appropriate for slightly smaller groups than what we had
