A small but very convenient airport for the region. You avoid having to rush to Luxembourg or Paris for common destinations. In fact, there are more and more of them. Several parking lots (P3 covered and enclosed). No stress, no crowds, and you won't get lost. Perfect.

It's great to go by train, it's so easy and convenient.

Security is always super fast. There is not much to do once you've been security.

I arrived here at 9pm, most things were closed with only a few staff. I was heading for a hotel close to EuropaPark and I was shocked to hear that no public transport was running there because it was "so late". A taxi company quoted €180 for the trip; I settled on an Über for €65. Staff were friendly but not that helpful. Buying a ticket from the Strasbourg Airport stop to anywhere was beyond me and I'm usually pretty au fait with travel (I later discovered that the large green button actually rotates!). This was my last stop from a journey from Southern Spain ...and I was shocked how difficult and expensive the whole journey was. Advanced planning is KEY! On the way back, the agent on reception charged me €30 to check in - despite explaining that online check in with Volotea hadn't allowed me to, and I also didn't have any luggage. What a racket. He didn't show understanding and reminded me that he worked for the airport, not Volotea. Suffice to say - I shall never go to Strasbourg airport again!
