We stayed two nights at the inn, which had changed hands about ten days prior. Of course, everything wasn't perfect, but the staff's kindness made us forget the minor imperfections. The inn has certainly aged, and one can only hope it will regain its former glory. However, it has retained its charm, and those interested in the history of Barbizon will find reminders of its prestigious past. The rooms are comfortable without being luxurious. The restaurant menu could be expanded and supplemented with a set menu, but the dishes are well-prepared. The setting is pleasant, and one feels at home there.

A very beautiful, spacious, and comfortable suite. The faucets could use some clarification; they were either too hot or too cold, and impossible to adjust. Dinner was very good, the dishes were delicious, but a little more attention to presentation would be appreciated. Laurent, the waiter, was particularly efficient and friendly.

Yes, there may be some imperfections, but it remains a magnificent establishment with a great sense of care. A traditional village inn with comfortable rooms. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Close to the Jean-François Millet workshop and ideal as a base for strolling up and down the Grande Rue.

24/07/2026: Excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. We are regulars here. The dishes are beautifully presented, of very good quality, and in generous portions.
13/07/2026: Mixed feelings about this restaurant. The menu is unusually classic, something I haven't seen in a long time. The grilled turbot was cooked perfectly, and the lobster pasta was well-prepared. As for the rest: the bread seemed to have come straight from the freezer, and the Grand Marnière soufflé was disappointing as I ate it in two spoonfuls. In the end, it's overpriced for what it is.
