Arriving in Montfort-l'Amaury today, I realized there were only two restaurants open, so obviously they were both full. I went to the Bistrot des Tours, and the very friendly waitress found me a seat at a high table. The Italian-style beef tartare was excellent, very good value, and for dessert I was treated to two scoops of ice cream, which wasn't listed on the menu. Being in the business, I'm delighted to find professional people.
