We would like to thank Jean-Philippe, the innkeeper, and his entire team for the warm welcome we received throughout our stay. A special thank you to Léa, Raphaël, and the waitress who served us at breakfast, whose name we regret not catching. Their kindness, helpfulness, and good humor made our stay very enjoyable. We were pampered from beginning to end, and our dog certainly wouldn't disagree! He also received a lot of attention, especially from the delicious Bress chicken. We highly recommend this inn, even for a short stay. You sleep well, the food is good, and above all, you'll find a friendly, attentive, and pleasant staff in all circumstances. We will gladly return on our next visit to your beautiful town of Saint-Jorioz. See you soon, Maguy, Delphine and Oslo 🐾

Absolutely perfect! Excellent welcome, helpfulness, kindness, and a superb breakfast. There were 12 of us. Highly recommended! 😍 Located 15-20 minutes from Annecy, in a peaceful setting, and 5 minutes from the lake, we were delighted with our stay. VCR

After getting caught in a heavy storm while riding our motorbikes, we received a very warm welcome and were served at the restaurant even though we hadn't made a reservation. We had a very good meal.

A charming inn and hotel near Annecy, yet far from the crowds. The welcome was very warm and personalized. The room was functional, spotlessly clean, and spacious, with a television, wardrobe, and comfortable bedding. A generous breakfast was served at the table, and the dinner menu, created by the chef and his team, changed daily, featuring regional products. The meals were delicious and plentiful. The staff was friendly and attentive to guests. A lovely establishment with beautiful Savoyard decor in the restaurant, and the outdoor pool was a bonus. A place to remember. Bernard and Nicole

19/02/2026: We arrived with complete independence. The housekeeping in the rooms needs improvement as they are starting to show their age. The food was well-equipped, the pool was clean and well-heated, and the rooms were also well-prepared. The bed was made up before our arrival and even included an extra pillow. There were no bathrobes for the pool. We only stayed one night, but I could easily see myself staying a week.
15/02/2026: A very nice residence, well located near Annecy with a lovely view, and several swimming pools, including one open even in winter. Self check-in is available from 2 pm onwards, which we really appreciated.

Lac et Montagne

08/09/2026: It's pretty good and the service is friendly. There's a large parking lot, which is a real plus considering the neighborhood. You can also play mini-golf.
02/09/2026: A huge congratulations to the new owner of the Lac & Montagne restaurant in Saint-Jorioz, who has transformed an establishment whose previous concept had nothing to do with Savoyard cuisine and offered "exceptional" dishes where only the bill was truly exceptional. Today, the change is clear, visible, and above all, very successful. The restaurant benefits from easy access, a reserved parking area, and a pleasant setting with its mini-golf course, perfect for extending the experience (even if, after a tartiflette, aiming for the hole becomes a high-level sport). Upon arrival, we received a prompt, warm, and very friendly welcome. Our order was taken within a very reasonable timeframe, with commendable transparency: we were informed that the tartiflette required 20 minutes of preparation. And the promised delivery times were perfectly respected. We chose two tartiflettes and two rib-eye steaks: the dishes were generous, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Special mention goes to the tartiflette, whose amount of cheese would make any Savoyard melt with delight. The prices are reasonable, finally in line with the quality and generous portions. After the meal, we played a round of mini-golf: a very enjoyable activity, even if digestion makes some of the obstacles a bit more… athletic. In short: The new owner has breathed new life and value into this place that I've known for 50 years. Well done! We will gladly return.
