Black Dog Café sur Cherbourg-Octeville

A very cozy bar with a great pub atmosphere, lovely decor, good beers, delicious infused rum, excellent music, and screens for football fans. You can easily spend the whole evening there, as they offer homemade terrines, homemade guacamole and hummus, tapas, cheese and charcuterie boards… What's more, the staff is very welcoming and the owners are lovely. It's my favorite bar in Cherbourg for an evening out with a partner or friends.

Lively rock bar. Nice range of beers. Excellent bar "snacks," we choose moreau comte (a Norman dry cured beef, mushroom and nut sausage) and graissin (Norman pork pate) - fantastic flavours. Not sure why food tastes so much better, when served by friendly staff.
