This little bistro near the Moulin Rouge was a real surprise. Super welcoming atmosphere, top-notch staff, and amazing food at a fair price. I had the duck and it was delicious, my companion had the beef bourguignon and it was perfect!

The price isn't excessive for the location. The service was adequate. However, the food is rather average. Unfortunately, we're finding fewer and fewer flavors in our bistros. Everything is standardized; the steak tartare wasn't homemade, which is a shame.

My friend and I stumbled upon this bistro for lunch quite by chance after exploring the neighborhood, and we had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, and our two rib-eye steaks were superb. The owner, Virgil, was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent find! Le Bistrot du Moulin serves delicious, high-quality cuisine. The portions are generous, the service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is friendly. You really feel at home there. The lively and pleasant neighborhood also contributes to this without being too intrusive. A great spot, perfectly balanced between bustling and intimate, which I highly recommend. I'll gladly return! Thanks to Virgile for the warm welcome ☺️

Virgil delighted us throughout the meal with his good humor and friendliness. In fact, it had been a long time since I'd eaten such a good beef bourguignon in a bistro.

I had a wonderful lunch at Bistrot du Moulin. The waiter was lovely and the food was absolutely divine! I highly recommend this restaurant, ideally located near the Moulin Rouge.

OMG ! I loved this place. We had the famous French onion soup and it was divine ! The meat was also really delicious. Don’t forget to check the desserts ! One of the best chocolate mousse we had in Paris. Also they do GOOD Espresso Martinis !!!! Virgil was so nice !

22/08/2026: Delicious crepes and gallettes (French for the buckwheat variety used for the savory portion of the meal). The chef, Stephane, is an amazing top-ranked crepe-maker, the restaurant features homemade toppings (hazelnut cream, chocolate sauce, and most especially caramel) that make you want more, more, more! And the crepes themselves are so light you can have as many as you like. Stéphane also offers workshops where he teaches many secrets of the kitchen — not just for making crepes!
20/08/2026: Amazing place! The crepes and galettes are nice and reasonably priced, but the most special thing is the owner/chef, who’s just the sweetest and is always willing to engage in conversation. The shop isn’t flashy but it does what it does well.

23/05/2026: The service was impeccable! The waitress who greeted us was truly a credit to her profession. She suggested wines to complement our meals with great taste. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. A sure bet, not to be missed!
