Lovely place with great Indian food for reasonable prices. Especially the owner is incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. I also enjoyed the decoration.

Great Indian restaurant. I go there often in the summer; it's lovely. Their naan is authentic naan... everything is fresh, and I've never had an upset stomach the next day. Excellent service from the manager and his team. I highly recommend it.

I order takeout for home delivery, it's always delicious. Special shout-out to the lamb masala and cheese naan 🤪 The gentleman serving was very pleasant, thank you so much for your kindness.

16/03/2026: I usually abstain from writing reviews on Indian restaurants abroad. But Ashoka was a class apart. A friend and I ordered vegetable biriyani and the taste was really tuned to exactly what was requested. The super delicious food reminds you of home, the quaint ambience adds to the vibe and the host is really kind and caring. If you are around Marseille, do drop by!
