Bombay Grill sur Marseille

Fantastic experience at Bombay Grill, both the food and the service were excellent! I highly recommend it!

Amazing amazing amazing!! My partner and I passed this place by a pure chance and decided to go in, and I'm so glad we did! HUGE portions, my partner has a big appetite so we ordered the €48 special where you get lamb, chicken, fish, whole shrimp, vegetables, 2 cheese naans and rice, and 2 desserts! All included in the €48- amazing value! We were also given some (i think) battered fried potatoes with sauces as a starter FREE (and we noticed everyone there did too!) and we were given free Saag (spinach) too! The dish was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection and the curried fish especially was to die for. We couldn't even finish all the food we had to ask for the leftovers to be wrapped up so we could take them home. The dessert menu is small but simple and everything is absolutely perfectly paired with the dinner menu. I got the coconut ice cream with mango coulis, my partner got the lemon sorbet- despite being so full we felt like we were going to burst.. we finished both! We were so full we struggled to finish our beers! (Which, btw, the house beer is Asahi bottles for only €5...absolute bargain!) The service was amazing, our waiter and the kind lady who I think is the manager were so so so lovely and friendly. Unfortunately there was two groups next to us who were very rude, and being difficult to the staff for (genuinely) no reason. They were the sort of people who just like to push hospitality staff because they can. But the staff were so gracious and professional with them despite the unkind attitude they were facing, it was really admirable and made me have even more respect for the restaurant. I truly implore people to eat here. It is so rare lately in cities to find food that feels like the restaurant is proud of and genuinely cares about, and without spending a fortune. This really is somewhere that cares about the food they're serving, and eating here was one of the highlights of my holiday in Marseille :)

The best restaurant in Marseille

Delicious and excellent value for money. We went twice as a family and they even offered us dessert for our twins' birthday. Everything is excellent: the food (all the grilled dishes were very generous), the wine, the appetizers, the naan... and no waiting at all! I highly recommend it!! :))

Friendly service and plenty of varied dishes to choose from

I recommend this establishment. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. I will gladly return on my next visit to Marseille.

We had a great time. Indian specialties. The grilled sea bream with rice and spicy vegetables was a real treat. The service was excellent. The restaurant has a terrace near the beach. I recommend it.

Pay attention and check the bill. We arrived at 6:30 PM, right when they opened, on April 21, 2026. We were the only customers at that time. Since we were with the children and a bit rushed, we didn't check the bill, and it was only afterward that we noticed a mistake: we had been charged more than we ordered. A few days later, we called to report the error and request a refund, but the staff pretended not to understand.

Bombay Grill never disappoints great service, super friendly staff, and the food comes out quick. The grilled dishes are next level juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
