Boulangerie De Quatier sur Paris

We spent several days in Paris and tried seven bakeries. We discovered this bakery quite by chance and (unfortunately!!!) only at the very end. Next time we're in Paris, it will be our first stop. This bakery is so much better than the overhyped bakeries. The baked goods are heavenly. Everything! Croissants and pain au chocolat, chaussons aux pommes, kouglof—everything was wonderful and had the perfect level of browning. Six stars!! The éclairs are exquisite and exactly as they should be. The breads and baguettes are a delight. We stocked up for the trip home, and we were still eating the breads and baguettes two days after we returned. They were still fresh and delicious. The staff is fantastic. The salesman is a real sweetheart. Our absolute recommendation!
