It's great to have a Marie Blachère bakery in Moutiers, which we also frequent in the Paris region. Their bread is always very fresh, good quality, and excellent value for money. Even after freezing, their bread remains crispy on the outside and soft in the center.

Depending on who you get, the person is pleasant. Or not. As for the food quality, it's getting worse and worse. The coffee isn't bad, the bread isn't great, the croissants aren't either, and the sandwiches aren't worth much.

30/07/2026: In the heart of Moutier, this restaurant, popular with locals, regulars, and discerning tourists alike, offers home-style cooking made with fresh, flavorful local ingredients. The cuisine is simple yet satisfying, with a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €17.50. The charcuterie is homemade and served in abundance. The main course features a beautiful chicken leg, and dessert is an assortment of Savoyard cheeses. There's also a good selection of Savoy wines by the glass. The owner is worth meeting—a bit grumpy but friendly, a true Savoyard...this establishment has been recommended by the Routard guide for several years.
15/07/2026: A wonderful experience with excellent food and service just the way we like it. I highly recommend it.
