I often travel the Annecy-Tarentaise road and I never fail to stop at Marie Blachère in Ugine. It's the only one I know of where the service is consistently excellent. Regardless of the day or time, the staff is welcoming, smiling, and attentive. You feel valued, and that's a real plus. I hope the other Marie Blachère locations, where the service is often minimal, will take a page from Ugine's book. A huge thank you to the Ugine team; you deserve the top spot for quality service.

The staff are competent and friendly. The products aren't necessarily cheap, but they're of fairly good quality and consistent, comparable to a traditional bakery. I recommend it.
