By far the best Marié Blachère in all of Besançon. The staff always provide a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere, and the products are simply irresistible. A fifth star for the manager, who is always attentive to her customers and offers excellent advice; in fact, she's the one who took my Christmas order. I highly recommend this bakery.
My first time at this bakery, I think. I was just popping in for a quick snack 😅 The staff were very attentive and professional. It's a shame they didn't have a plain baguette, even though the black olive one was tempting 👀 In the end, I went for a baguette, THE baguette.
One bite as soon as I got back to the car and it was love at first bite 🥰 It's truly delicious, and even at the end of the day, it goes perfectly with my butternut squash puree. It won't last the night 😜 A very good experience 🤩
I regularly buy my bread at this bakery, but I've unfortunately noticed that the people who put the unbaked baguettes on the conveyor belts never clean them. As a result, you end up with burnt seeds under the Marie Dorée baguettes.
This is extremely unpleasant. Cleaning after each batch is essential. It's a real shame because the bread is generally of good quality.
