Great shop, the service is fantastic, very fast, and the staff are very friendly! Not to mention their amazing brownies, which are delicious! ☺️ I highly recommend it, lots of choices!

An evening visit with a particularly unpleasant, cold, and disdainful saleswoman. No smile, no sense of service, and an almost aggressive tone: we clearly felt unwelcome, even like we were intruding. Fortunately, the older woman and the gentleman were very kind and redeemed the situation. A big thank you to them. Without their intervention, the experience would have been entirely negative.

I went there to pick up two lunch menus for Thursday, August 14, 2025, but when we arrived at 12:00 PM sharp, there were almost no more menus left to buy :( Do you have to come at 11:00 AM to get menus? Why not remake menus as soon as they run out? Disappointing, and a real shame... So we went elsewhere...

I arrived at the Marie Blachère in Varennes-lès-Mâcon just in time. I was well aware of the 8 pm closing time. How lucky I was! I was greeted by the evening team, two women with incredible interpersonal skills and smiles, even though I expected to be turned away. I want to say to the management that people with such excellent customer service and professionalism should be recognized for their dedication and expertise. Thank you to these wonderful women at Marie Blachère in Varennes-lès-Mâcon. Ms. Moreau

31/08/2024: We are very well received, very pleasant and very good and plentiful.
29/08/2024: We were very pleasantly surprised by the very warm welcome (by telephone and on site). This new team is very motivated! Here, we work as a family (cooking and service) and you can feel it! We were also very satisfied with the cuisine (very good frog legs) and the beautiful view. A downside for the long and therefore complicated wait with young children, but the waitresses did their best to compensate for the inconvenience. The team and therefore the routine is established, everything improves over the weeks. Good concept with local cuisine + pizzas (if the kitchens can keep up!) Best wishes!
