Boulangerie Marie Blachere, France sur Chateaurenard

Very good bread when it has risen sufficiently.

Hi, I'm a big fan of their brownies, and I'm sharing my frustration because they're my favorite treat (or at least they used to be). They're almost always a disaster, dry, and taste like a chocolate cake that's been left in the oven too long.

An excellent bakery for lunch. The bread and pastries are perfect. Attractive prices: e.g., 1 coffee + 1 pastry for €1.95. You can also create your own salad and enjoy sandwiches. The staff is very welcoming. In particular, Charly, a real driving force, is always smiling, incredibly energetic, and has a powerful dynamism that inspires all the saleswomen. As for the decor, it's brand new.

The service was always top-notch, a special mention for Charly, who I never saw without her smile and good humor. You could literally say she was everywhere at once, as she never stopped for a second, even while serving customers. She should share some of her energy with the other saleswomen, who sometimes seem to need it... Otherwise, the breads and other products are always very good 🍞 🥐 🍪🥗 🥪 🥯

Hello, on April 30, 2026, I went to Marie Blachère in Châteaurenard early at 6:20 AM. It was closed; everything was switched off. Before I went, of course, I checked the opening hours on my phone, which showed Monday hours from 6 AM to 8 PM. So, either they hadn't woken up yet, or they forgot to change the clocks.
