A nice brasserie for a drink, however, if you don't ask a server, you can wait quite a while to be served. This somewhat spoils the experience. The first time we left after 15 minutes without being served. The second time, we had to ask after 10 minutes to be served.

We always have a great time at 1901! The food is delicious and the staff is attentive (thanks again to the waiter who saved us a table in the shade on the terrace for our lunch).

A good brasserie if you like meat. The menu is simple and unpretentious; if you're a meat lover, there's a good selection of quality Salers beef (and sometimes Angus cuts). The rest of the menu is simple but has the merit of being varied. There are two outdoor seating areas: one overlooks the market, so the view isn't the best, and the other is always packed with smokers. Reservations are essential, or you should arrive early.
