A good brasserie if you like meat. The menu is simple and unpretentious; if you're a meat lover, there's a good selection of quality Salers beef (and sometimes Angus cuts). The rest of the menu is simple but has the merit of being varied. There are two outdoor seating areas: one overlooks the market, so the view isn't the best, and the other is always packed with smokers. Reservations are essential, or you should arrive early.

The food is high quality, the dishes are delicious, and that's what prompted me to leave a review.
However, the welcome and customer service really need improvement. The person who served us (a gentleman in his fifties) was very cold, without a smile, and his attitude made customers feel completely uncomfortable. We felt more like we were bothering them than being welcomed.
It's a real shame, because it doesn't reflect well on the work done in the kitchen. A good experience isn't just about the food, but also about the welcome and service.
I hope this feedback will be taken constructively, because with a little more warmth and friendliness, the experience would be much more enjoyable.

Excellent brasserie. Superb setting, impeccable service, and excellent value for money.
Remember to make a reservation if you arrive after 12:00 or 12:30, as it's always busy.

Lunch with colleagues. The main course was very nice and generous, and the dessert was delicious. The welcome was a little cold and unfriendly, but the service was very good. The proximity to other customers made it a bit noisy. We were able to have lunch in an hour, perfect!

I try to eat here every year when we come to Bry-Sur-Marne. Great food, clean place. Steak is perfect everytime. Mostly French speak, occasionally you can find someone who speaks English. One of my favorite places.

Excellent brasserie, very good value for money! The only problem is the initial welcome; it's as if the servers are pretending not to see you! The first impression is therefore a bit lacking, but after that it's fine.
