A very good meal. The scallop skewers were generous and delicious, and the bone-in ham was very tender and also plentiful. I recommend the French toast with caramel apples. The waiter was very kind.

Excellent place, simple but well-prepared cuisine. The mussels are delicious and the service is impeccable, with smiles and kindness. I highly recommend this place.

I see the negative reviews about this brasserie, but for my part, we ate well there. Out of 11 people, we had no problems with the cooking or the wait. Our server was attentive to our table and very friendly. Of course, it's not a gourmet restaurant, but in my personal experience, it suited me perfectly, even the prices.

We wanted to share our wonderful experience. We opted for the "broth" set menu (including a main course, dessert, and children's menu). The quality, quantity, cooking, taste, prices, and cleanliness were all perfectly executed: the service and welcome were quick and efficient, demonstrating the expertise of true professionals in the restaurant and tourism industry! My sweet family and I love to travel the world and discover the stories hidden in the landscape. My father, a die-hard World War II fanatic, is like a kid in a candy store looking at the beaches where the D-Day landings took place eight decades ago. I, however, an uncompromising devotee of the wonders of food, feel right at home in a restaurant. And as an official defender of gastronomic injustices, I feel compelled to write about this terrible case. August 20th, 1:50 PM, in the tourist town of Arromanches, finding a good restaurant is crucial for a good day out. It was a bad day when we set our sights on this inn. The appetizers hinted at what seemed like good service. The food was adequate and in appropriate portions. Nothing that could have prepared us for the impending disappointment. Finally, the moment our hopes were shattered. With the arrival of the main courses, my dreams of a truly memorable meal crumbled to dust. My mother and I skipped the main course menu and opted instead for a single dish that caught our eye. I've attached a photo of the container both dishes came in, along with my entire family's reaction upon seeing it. Perhaps if they had been inexpensive, I wouldn't have felt so cheated. Perhaps if those bites had been the most delicious of my short life, I wouldn't have been so utterly disappointed. Perhaps if they had been served to me by a domesticated monkey on a bicycle juggling, I wouldn't have felt like crying. But even if all that had happened, I wouldn't be pouring my heart out on these pixels. On a positive note, I must say the toilets were truly remarkable, and seeing the lids spin after flushing almost made me forget my disappointment. But it wasn't enough. I will not tolerate anyone else making the mistake of ordering from the menu only to end up hungry, devastated, and with a wound that needs healing. Please, order from the set menu.

Friendly and welcoming service. The waitress was excellent. We had fries and mussels with Camembert cheese – it was delicious! The croque monsieur and fries for the kids were also very good; there wasn't a single bite left! 🙂

Very warm welcome at 2 pm even though the restaurant was full. An efficient waiter and very quick service, I recommend it.

The €34.50 set menu is very good, including good fish. Plan to arrive around 12:00 as it fills up quickly!
