No starters, because there are only 4 hearty main courses: Cod à la Chaucrine, Cuttlefish à la Charentaise (but with bacon...), Cassoulet de la mer,
and Blanquette de la mer.

Discovered by chance during a bike ride, we were well received despite our large number of guests by a charming waiter.
Quality home cooking, the mussels were succulent.

Reception a little cold then as the conversation progressed the boss became more friendly. Blanquette de la mer very good, however the children's menus were not great. I was a waiter myself and I know it's not an easy job but they were quite poorly organized. We waited a good 25 minutes for the main dishes to be taken away from us.

Accueil très agréable et restaurant très propre. Moules de Pénestin super bonnes et très bien préparées. Prix très correct au vu de la qualité et de la qualité. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.

We regularly come to this little, no-frills restaurant, in the good sense of the thermal baths...Friendly welcome without being affable. We come for the bosses, and good local cuisine,
What is on the (copious) plate resembles what is written on the menu..
Since this summer, mussels... just one recipe... mussels, that is...! No need to ask for more, you will already have trouble finishing. Home fries, same thing.
But you have to book to be sure, because like any good address,
it is often complete. We can come early, that’s much appreciated.
If I didn't give 5* it's because it wouldn't be sincere. Only...

Adresse sympathique, plats faits maison, excellents et bien présentés, ne pas hésiter à y faire une halte pour le déjeuner
