Brasserie jules sur Quend

We received a very warm welcome. The meal was hearty and delicious. Thank you, we will be back, especially for the cheese platter which was incredible.

We came on Saturday evening; the restaurant was quite full, but despite that, we were welcomed and served quickly, from our aperitif to our main course. A very pleasant restaurant, with a friendly and welcoming waitress. The food was very good, with a simple yet visually appealing presentation. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the fries were delicious. The ambiance and decor are lovely. A great find for us.

We were taken care of quickly, even though we had a reservation for 8. The service was fast, but the dishes were served as we had requested, allowing us time to enjoy a leisurely aperitif. The waiters were friendly. The food quality was, I would say, commensurate with the price. The mussels were well-seasoned and tasted exactly as described on the menu (not always the case in some restaurants). My swordfish steak was excellent, and I was able to change the side dish without any problem. I would say that Jules is a very good seaside restaurant with reasonable prices. It's always a pleasure to eat there. The kitchen is visible from the dining room, and I would say it's quite inviting. In short, I recommend it.

Excellent food and a very warm welcome

The food was extraordinary, I've never eaten so well in my life. The service was very fast, the waiter was very friendly and pleasant, and the atmosphere was perfect.

We came to eat with my two young children and received a very warm welcome. The service was friendly and efficient from beginning to end. My mother ordered mussels, which she found delicious, and I had tagliatelle with two types of salmon, which I also thoroughly enjoyed. There were several children's menu options. The terrace is enclosed in glass, allowing you to enjoy your meal without being bothered by the wind. We had a wonderful time!

Never disappointed at Jules, both with the food and the service. The roasted Camembert was superb, served with a generous platter. Well done!

3 menus: * 1 Carbonnade, perfect * 2 "bavettes" (?), one rare and one medium... poorly presented, badly cut, and beyond reproach, even with a steak knife! We should have sent them back to the kitchen immediately... Since we're not the complaining type, we didn't. When we pointed it out, after nearly damaging our teeth, the waitress had no positive reaction; it's probably normal to serve... shoe leather. Admittedly, we're not "into" the meat, but... visually, it was obvious!!! The cashier was more sympathetic. So, €109.70 for 3 meals with 2 inedible pieces of meat (sorry for the term!), that's hard to swallow...! I must point out that this is the first time we've been disappointed by this brasserie, which we knew and enjoyed until Sunday, March 29th. Nevertheless, I don't think we'll be going back. A gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated, since we couldn't even have the chef "taste" the meat! And yes, our upbringing dictates that we eat what's on the plate...
