A Jean Jaurès institution! A must-visit spot with affordable coffee, impeccable service, and the much-appreciated availability of Midi Libre and L’Équipe newspapers. The morning croissant is a real treat (and inexpensive too), all just steps from the Jardins de la Fontaine, with the bakery and newsstand right across the street. A truly lovely brasserie.

Very good brasserie, I recommend it, affordable prices, friendly staff.

We had a cheeseburger. It was different from regular cheeseburgers in that the cheese was grilled on a bun. The bun was soft, but thanks to the baked cheese it wasn't soggy. I prefer my meat medium-rare, I got it rare, but I didn't specify when I ordered. The fries were good, the beer was good. We tried it because of the name, Gambrinus is one of the most famous beer brands in the Czech Republic and it was worth it.

Good home cooking at a fair price, a warm welcome... A little slice of happiness!
