Nice plate with excellent pork spider. Address to remember. That was in 2023. 2024 we went back. No spiders, we fell back on the burgers. Personally, I haven't eaten it for a long time. But the ! Next time my choice is already made. Fresh baker's bread with a good quantity of butcher quality meat accompanied by good ingredients and excellent fries. After reading different reviews, I do not understand the negative comments regarding the prices which are reasonable.

La Corniche des Cevennes

17/07/2024: Great setting and the river is 50m away. The room is located in adjoining houses. For our part, great welcome, the breakfast is more than adequate 2 pastries, bread, cold meats, cheeses, fruits etc., I don't know what more you need. The evening buffet was great, starter, main course, dessert for €22, great chef. Smiling waitress and lots of humor. Thanks to all three
29/06/2024: For a weekend for two the hotel was quite charming and correct. We agree that certain elements of the rooms would need to be renovated but this does not detract from the quality of the service, the food as well as the location and the hotel in general. We particularly liked the terrace as well as the detail of the small individual terraces in each room. The staff were welcoming and friendly which helped make us feel good. The comments on the cuisine are, in my opinion, rather exaggerated, given the exquisite buffet we were treated to.

07/09/2024: Wow! Amazing food and staff. We were very late as it was our first day staying at St Jean du Gard, so we got to the restaurant when it was already closing, but they still let us eat there. They kindly served us delicious and well prepared food and beer. A great overall experience. RECOMMEND!
07/09/2024: We were late because of bad weather and starving. We wanted to eat at another restaurant that was closer at first, but they didn’t want to serve us, because their kitchen was already clean 40mins before closing time… we walked on and came across this place. They were about to close and still took us in and served us immediately. The food is soooo good.. we had duck, fries, salad, sweet crepes and some drinks and everything tasted perfect. The staff was extremely kind and nice. Absolutely recommend this to everyone.
