My wife, daughter, and I ate at Restaurant 592 today. We received an excellent welcome, even though it was past 2 pm. The menu is displayed on all the walls, and there are so many choices! The food was very good. I highly recommend the restaurant. The waiter was incredibly attentive.

We went there on a Saturday at lunchtime based on recommendations, but we found the restaurant average. The welcome was very good, and the waitresses were cheerful, except for one who led us to our table (she was like a rocket, we practically had to run to keep up with her!) and who wasn't smiling at all. The other waitresses were pleasant, but the service was a bit chaotic. We'd have one waitress come, then another; we'd order coffees from one and then ask another, in short... the dining room was a bit noisy, and there was no drinks menu, so they just told you what was available verbally, and you only found out the price at the end (€3.80 for a simple lemonade seemed a bit excessive). Moving on to the food, to choose, you have to read the boards on the various walls of the restaurant, which isn't very practical. The meat was good, no complaints there, and the gratin dauphinois was also good. The duck breast with salad and fries was okay, nothing exceptional, but the pepper sauce was runny. Then came the desserts, and what a disappointment! The chocolate mousse was terrible (just like the kind you buy at the supermarket), the lemon meringue pie was huge, sure, but you could tell it was pre-made, and the tiramisu was just average. Well, it wasn't mentioned anywhere that it was homemade, so yes, we knew what to expect... 3 main courses, 3 drinks, 3 desserts, 2 coffees: €112.20. We tried at least, but we weren't impressed. It's probably a better deal during the week with the set menus at €20 and up; given the quality, it's a better value for money.

A very pleasant surprise at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was a delight!!! I had the grilled octopus, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Some others had the royal couscous, which was super generous and excellent. In short, I recommend it without hesitation. Véronique
