We had a very good evening at the Buffalo. We ate well, nothing to say. Aurelie was very good at the service but I think the restaurant could do with a facelift (worn benches, lighting too...) restaurant a little old

we had a very good meal, but we should think about making renovations like lights and carpets

I’ve been wanting to visit a Buffalo grill again for a few years now since my last visit was around 10 years ago, so when i discovered we were camping only a few miles away from one I was eager to try it out again! I found the one closest to us on Apple Maps and was disappointed to read the trip advisor reviews to the point where we decided we wouldn’t visit. But one evening, after a long day at the nature reserve, we decided to give it a try! Upon arrival, the car park and restaurant seemed very quiet for 8pm but we were immediately welcomed with a friendly smile and as soon as the lady realised how bad my French was, she spoke English and told me not to worry about it, they all speak good English. I like to try speaking local languages but it’s always nice to know they they’re happy to speak English! We were shown to a table and shortly after, a young man bought us some salads and asked if we were ready to order. He could tell that we were unsure of the menu so helped us with recommendations and translations, really helpful man. After a brief chat we discovered he was actually Portuguese but his French and English was great! The starters arrived within 5-10 minutes and the mains around 10 minutes later, all perfectly timed with friendly service. All of us enjoyed our meals and there was barely anything left afterwards which is an extremely rare occurrence for my wife and daughter! I’m so glad we took a risk and visited despite the bad reviews because we had a great experience at Buffalo Grill Tarnos and that’s why I decided to leave this review, so that other people can also see that it’s not all bad 😊
