Cabane De L'Aigle sur Lans-En-Vercors

A warm welcome, and what can we say about the food! Excellent! We stayed here twice during our week-long holiday, and we highly recommend it! The food is high quality, perfect for both adults and children! In short, for us, it's a must-visit in the Vercors!

The fondue wasn't great, it was grainy, almost like it came from a store! Everything is extra, even the charcuterie is extra for a fondue 🫕… On the other hand, the waffles were good!

We came to eat last night as a family of three with a baby. We were very well received, the staff were really helpful, and we enjoyed our meal in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

A warm welcome, good quality food, an ideal location… the best in summer is having an aperitif on the terrace and a snack at the end of the day while watching the paragliders land, all while relaxing on large, comfortable sofas under parasols… I highly recommend it.

A lovely little restaurant, quiet and with a beautiful setting. The fondue was absolutely delicious and generous, as was the charcuterie! I highly recommend it; the service is very friendly and they clearly love children! Thank you for everything, and see you soon at your lovely little restaurant.

We discovered La Cabane de l'Aigle as a family around Christmas time, about two or three years ago, before it became a permanent structure. We had an unforgettable memory of the blueberry tart with an almond base, which is what prompted us to return a few days ago. The hot drinks were very good, as was the blueberry ice cream, but unfortunately, the blueberry tart was nothing like we remembered. The recipe must have changed, and/or it's no longer made by the same person. The crust was too thick for our liking, and the almond base was too overpowering compared to the blueberries, so we couldn't really taste them. Aside from this minor disappointment, we found the service good, the new location very pleasant, bright, and well-decorated, and we enjoyed relaxing in the warmth at the end of the day for an afternoon snack.

We only stopped for ice cream. The homemade sorbets are delicious, but it wasn't enough to overcome the very curt and completely unfriendly welcome from the gentleman (probably the owner). If I hadn't promised the kids ice cream, we would have turned back. The setting remains pleasant.
