Conveniently located on Boulevard Jean Jaurès, Café Pantel is something of an institution. Always lively, it's a popular spot for people to gather around a beer or a coffee, chatting about football or bullfighting. The food is simple and good. Friendly service.

A very nice and pleasant place. However, there's one major drawback: the waiter is very kind, but when you ask for a glass of water, he tells some people they have to go inside to get it. But for regular customers who ask for water, he gives it to them without asking them to move. It's not very fair, and it's hurtful. Everyone should have the right to the same service. Oh well.

I've been coming here for years, especially on weekends and holidays. And occasionally there's a waiter whose name I won't mention.
