07/10/2026: A wonderful discovery in Épernay! We had a fantastic time at La Fleur de Sel on Rue Jean Moulin. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff are truly kind, attentive, and full of humor. The dishes are hearty, generous, and very flavorful. The savory galettes are definitely one of the house specialties and are worth the trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the beef chuck, which was very tender and delicious. Of course, in Champagne, we also enjoyed the region's wines and champagnes… and we finished our meal with a rather memorable tasting of Ratafia Champenois and Marc de Champagne. The bottles look similar, but the difference in alcohol content is immediately apparent! 😄 Our server even explained it to us with great humor. A simple, warm, and generous place where you eat well and feel truly welcome. Highly recommended. We will gladly return!
