As is often the case, I trusted the comments and my instinct! Easy access to the expressway and really not far. A restaurant that is not very large but nicely decorated, clean and welcoming! Generous cuisine made with fresh produce! A menu at 15€75 starter (buffet) main course (generous) dessert (and not a mini dessert 😉) and drink A big thank you for this pleasant taste break!!

At Aux Délices, a restaurant that lives up to its name, we had a great time. Both the welcome and the decoration make this restaurant a very pleasant place. Thanks to Fanny and Ricko for this excellent time, see you soon for future tastings.

Late lunch on a week day, we enjoyed the food and the service was impeccable. The meat was good quality and perfectly cooked. Menus are simple and affordable. The owners are very nice. We'll go again.

To be honest, we went looking for a good restaurant. As is often the case, Google comments guide us. We don’t arrive at Jazenne by chance. This Saturday, November 4, the room is full, which is a good sign. Most customers are regulars. We sit down and it’s the boss who welcomes us. He presents his menu to us, a minimalist menu which suggests that frozen meals are not among the options. Today, on the menu is a sweetbread accompanied by a porcini mushroom risotto. After a hearty starter, I feast on this delicious dish and its accompaniment cooked to perfection. The boss told us that everything is done in the kitchen, I believe him without reservation. I therefore recommend this address and finally, if you like foie gras, then it is a choice that I also recommend. I haven't told you about the service, but it's perfect. As for me, I will go back. ======================================= Second opinion This Saturday, January 20, 2023, we made our second visit to the “Aux délices” restaurant, two months after our first discovery. A little to confirm our first impression. This week's new menu has piqued our curiosity, traditional cuisine certainly, but which we like to find on our plate. As during our first visit, the presence of regulars, including a few friends, in the dining room, testifies to the quality of the place. The menu offered at €26 was promising: fish soup with rouille and croutons, roasted Camembert accompanied by cold meats, and Brownies served with custard. The highlight of this meal was the matured entrecôte, suggested by the owner-chef who is passionate about his work. This meat, carefully aged to develop its flavor and tenderness, was an irresistible temptation for those who love good meat. And what a success! The 300 g entrecôte, exemplarily tender, a pure delight. Meanwhile, my wife enjoyed a pâté en croute with foie gras and the roasted Camembert, which was equally succulent. We concluded our meal with crème brûlée, prepared according to the rules of the art. In short, “Aux délices” in Jazennes confirms our initial impressions: it is an excellent address for a meal with family (or alone). The service is both fast and efficient, the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A place that I highly recommend for a most pleasant culinary experience in the pure French tradition.
