Cafe de la Plaine sur Molieres-Cavaillac

Passing through the area, I stumbled upon this restaurant. The set menu was €15.90, including a starter, main course, and dessert. The daily special was €9.90. It was excellent, generous, and fresh: tender filet mignon with a creamy olive sauce and homemade fries like you rarely find. The decor is a bit vintage; you don't go there for the ambiance, but for the quality of the unpretentious, simply delicious meal, like a Sunday at Grandma's (if she knows how to cook ;-) ). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with regulars. Outdoor seating is available. In short, I highly recommend it.

We hired La Plaine for our wedding. We were more than satisfied with the quality, the beauty, and the kindness of the team, especially Fred, whose cuisine amazed our guests.
