Café de l'Époque sur Rouen

A café where you immediately feel at ease. The owner and staff are pleasant and attentive to the upkeep of the establishment. The homemade cuisine is high-quality and very good, with a varied menu that changes weekly. The clientele is friendly. Some evenings there are concerts by local bands to liven things up, and sometimes there are events such as clothing swaps, a carnival, etc.

After descending from Sainte-Catherine Hill, we were looking for a typical Rouen spot for lunch. Our guardian angels (and the Petit Futé guidebook) guided us perfectly! A unique, wonderful place; everything enchanted and amazed us... Location, welcome, style (Mucha, Klimt!), ambiance, service, music...
