A great place to go if you want no nonsense pub grub/ food at a reasonable price. Especially when you can sit outside in an atmospheric setting in a square in the beautiful Issigeac. Fish and Chip Fridays are very popular so get there early.

01/08/2026: Just a nice little restaurant, the duck with fries and the salad with fried goat cheese were tasty, friendly service. It was extremely busy, so the wait was correspondingly long.
26/07/2026: We enjoyed this small restaurant with its shaded terrace. We had a very good, generous, and delicious Périgord salad. The welcome and service were excellent. I recommend it.

Le shabby chic corner

01/08/2026: The price isn't cheap, but the quality is exceptional for a big city cafe. I highly recommend the Caramel Coconut Cake (day special) and the chocolate ice cream.
26/07/2026: A very pleasant spot in a small alley. The carrot cake was delicious. The ice cream was also good, but not homemade. The service was mediocre, taking three tries. There were no napkins, and the table was barely cleaned. But that's a minor detail; the most important thing was the food!
