Café de Sade sur Lacoste

A very friendly restaurant with excellent value for money. The pizzas are delicious. The service and atmosphere are very pleasant.

Before going to this restaurant, I wondered why it had a 4.3 rating. I went and I understood. I'm in a good mood and I'm giving it a 4, but I hesitated to give it a 3. The food is average, nothing special, and certainly nothing to write home about. The duck breast was just average, cooked on a brazier—in other words, a way to avoid cooking and sell grilled food at the price of elaborate dishes. Sure, the setting is nice, but a nice setting doesn't make a restaurant worth €50 per person (starter + main course + iced tea + 1 bottle of sparkling water + 1 coffee)... And I'm fed up with all these unimaginative restaurateurs who serve fries with every dish! Plus, the lunch menu isn't the same as the dinner menu, and you wonder why there's no steak tartare in the evening when it's available at lunchtime! Well, because they have their braziers where they cook everything! They can't make steak tartare or fresh salads in the evening, can they? How lucky to own a restaurant in a tourist area, they can do whatever they want, and you can say whatever you want. People will come to them anyway! Okay, I'll stop, because I'm getting annoyed. If this continues, I'm going to give them 3 out of 5!

A place we absolutely love... A wonderful welcome from the whole team, the freedom to sit wherever you like and take your time. Delicious, well-prepared food, served simply. Thank you so much for everything!

We had a Margherita pizza, and it was truly excellent.

As a group of 11, we received a very warm welcome. It was excellent. Top-notch service. The terrace was lovely, with a misting system. I highly recommend it!

A visit to the village after many years away. Sade used to be a café with a few rooms to rent upstairs, on Rue Basse, almost opposite the old bakery that's now a Carrefour Proxi supermarket. A quick lunch on a Tuesday in late July 2026. Unfortunately, the service was provided by someone who wasn't very friendly, and there was a LONG wait at the till to pay. Otherwise, a very simple choice for a quick meal: Margherita pizza and Caesar salad.

They made two mistakes with my ice cream flavors, but the server's kindness forgave them 😉

It was perfect, a warm welcome despite our late arrival, the setting is very nice and we had a wonderful meal 😍

Good, fast, efficient, friendly, pleasant setting and very reasonable price!
